Owned by SIL International, ethnologue.com is "a catalogue of more than 6,800 languages spoken in 231 countries." Check out the software section for loads of downloadable fonts (many for free). And be sure to check out the bibliography for extensive files on languages by country and by linguistic topic. The site also features an extensive collection of articles drawn from academic publications and professional journals worldwide.
