New(s) @ Multi-Lingua® Communications

November 2002

Mike Adams joined Multi-Lingua® this month as Marketing & Sales Manager.

Most recently Marketing Manager for one of the fastest growing Section 529 Prepaid Tuition Plans in the US, Mike has spent most of his career in business development and marketing of professional and financial services, including a stint from 1988-1994 in Moscow, where he helped build the #1-ranked multi-disciplinary communications agency, thence on to Kyrgyzstan, mainland China and Canada before returning to Chicago.

A fluent Russian speaker, Mike earned his BA in Russian Language & Literature at Amherst College and the MALD (Master of Arts in Law & Diplomacy) from The Fletcher School of Law & Diplomacy -- a graduate program jointly administered by Tufts and Harvard Universities and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

In anticipation of two elections this year, the Cook County Election Department selected Multi-Lingua® Communications to handle ballot and voter education translations.  Working with community advisory groups as well as County staff, Multi-Lingua® will continue to develop the Department's foreign glossaries as well as its digital assets.
